Rosa Mexicano - Hackensack
Details
Rosa Mexicano was New York's first restaurant to offer elevated Mexican cuisine. The name Rosa Mexicano refers to the bold pink hue seen throughout Mexico and Latin America. The restaurant's interiors are designed by David Rockwell, featuring "water walls" that pay homage to the famed Acapulco cliff divers, as well as depictions of the Otomi Gods — symbols of fertility that the people of Puebla worshiped to support a bountiful harvest. The restaurant's menu features traditional Mexican dishes with a modern twist and is served in a festive atmosphere that embodies Mexico's food, people, and culture.
