You could argue that American Diners are starting to look...well, a little tired. There’s only so many you can sit in before you start to think: I’ve been here before. This all changes at the wonderful Whiskey Down Diner, Farmingdale, New York. It’s an all-American diner alright, but with a facelift in all the right places. Modern lines, sparkling counter, a fully stocked bar with spirits and draught beer, and contemporary lighting provide a relaxing but modem, fast-casual dining experience. The food is fabulous and ticks all the boxes, including a late-night menu that deserves closer inspection.
